How do I register for the weekend?
Go to the registration page, print out the registration form and mail it to the payment address with your registration fee.

How much does it cost to register?
Early registration (prior to Sept 5, 2010) costs $50.
Late registration (Sept 6 - Oct 5, 2010) costs $75.
Register early and save $25!!

What is included in the Celebrate Memories Crop weekend price?
Overnight accommodations for 2 or 3 nights, 6' of cropping space, continuous beverage service (coffee, tea, water, soda), plentiful buffet style meals, hor d'ouevres each evening, snacks all day long, campfire s'mores...there is so much food. Trust us, you will love what the Whispering Pines Chef is cooking up for us!
There will be a cash bar (meaning that you have to pay for any alcoholic beverages) each evening in the dining room with our own private bartender so that you may enjoy a cocktail with your friends.
Goodie bags, giveaways & opportunities to purchase scrapbooking supplies from on-site vendors.
Full body massages will be available from a certified massage therapist in a private room at the conference center.
Our group will be the only guests at the conference center making the weekend private & relaxing. No distractions!
Did we mention how much fun you will have? {that's included in the price as well}

Can I register with my friends so that we can sit together?
What a nice friend you are! Of course! We welcome groups of friends and encourage you to make new ones! Your seats will be reserved so no matter what time you join us, your seats are saved. You will be assigned a cropping area and rooms with your group. 

Can I register my group?
The registration fee & package price are per person so each person must send in their forms with their registration fee to reserve their spot. Of course you may combine registration fees into one check.
Package price for the weekend must be paid with a credit card for each individual though and your signature is required on your individual registration form.

Can I bring my child with me to scrapbook?
Our scrapbook weekends are designed for adults and those who are over 16 years of age. We want the weekend to be relaxing for everyone and prefer our children and husbands to stay home while we are preserving our memories.

What if I have to cancel my reservation?
In the unfortunate event that you cannot make it to the Celebrate Memories Crop, you may cancel your reservation until October 5, 2010 without being charged for your hotel room & meals. The $50-$75 registration fee is non-refundable.
In the event that you need to cancel after October 5, 2010, you will be responsible for your entire package price ($360 for 2 nights or $540 for 3 nights) - but you may transfer your package to another person and have them reimburse you the registration fee so that you do not lose any money. It is your responsibility to find a replacement for your spot. PLEASE NOTE: This means that once October 5, 2010 arrives, we are not able to refund any package prices. Your registration confirms that you agree to these terms.

Will I receive my $50-$75 registration fee back if I cancel? No we're really sorry but you will forfeit your registration fee as that is non-refundable under any circumstance. The registration fee allows us to pay for the amenities & cropping space for the weekend.

Who do I contact to cancel my reservation (and unfortunately forfeit my registration fee)? Cancellations must be made in writing to Celebrate Memories Crop, c/o Lisa Miller, 168 Hubbard Rd, Hartford, CT 06114. Please call to let us know you will be sending a cancellation notice - (860) 593-5760

What to bring on a scrapbook weekend....

Your Scrapbook Supplies
Pack it all up and bring it with you! Load up your papers, tools, embellishments, stickers, die-cutting machines and lots of photos! If you can pack it into your car, you can bring it with you!
{Sorry - we do not accept early delivery of your supplies. You have to arrive with them}

Helpful tip:
Print out your photos the week before the Celebrate Memories Crop and pre-organize your layouts so you can complete more pages!

Comfy Clothes
We plan on being comfortable and we want you to relax....so put away the work clothes, bring your comfiest clothing, your pj's and layers. The temperature in each area of the conference center will be different although the thermostat in your cropping area can be adjusted to keep everyone comfortable.
Please note that some croppers will always be cold and some will always be warm so dress in layers to anticipate the temperature in the crop room.

Seat Cushion
Feel free to bring an extra cushion to place on the awesome ergonomic chairs if you'd like. These seats are much more comfortable than folding or banquet chairs so we know you will love them!

Extra Lighting
While there is plenty of great lighting in the crop areas, you may bring a lamp of your own. Extension cords are available from Whispering Pines so don't worry if you forget them!

Outside Food & Beverages
All of your food and beverages are included in your crop weekend but we all know that some croppers like to have their own special snacks.
As some of you know, Lisa loves Twizzlers and always has those stashed with her supplies.
This is YOUR weekend so we're throwing the restrictive cropping rules right out the window when it comes to snacks. Pack up those candies & trail mix and munch to your heart's content!
We do suggest that you bring a covered mug with you to drink at the crop tables though. This helps keep everyone's papers, photos & albums safe from spills.

I've never been to a scrapbook weekend crop before - what should I bring?
Well first off - congrats! You are going to love a weekend getaway just for scrapbooking!
Some scrapbookers bring pre-planned pages & specific supplies and others bring their entire crop room from home! You can bring as much or as little as you want but don't forget the basics like paper trimmers, photos, paper, adhesive & scissors. Everything else is up to you. We will also have some great vendors on site to provide you with some supplies you may need.

How much space will I have to crop?
Everyone will have an entire table for their supplies.  Yes, you're reading that correctly - Our 6' tables will be set up so there is one 6' space per cropper. More room for you ladies!

Can I bring music with me to listen to while I crop?
Absolutely! We just ask that you bring your own earphones/iPods with you so that others are not distracted. 

What if I forget some of my supplies or need something extra for a page (or yikes! run out of adhesive)? Well you're in luck because we will have vendors available on-site that will offer a variety of products. Stay tuned for more information on these fabulous vendors & sponsors as we get closer to our weekend. There is an additional charge for their products so please keep these in mind as you are planning for our trip.

Can I purchase Creative Memories supplies at the Celebrate Memories Crop?

I'd love to get a massage during the weekend. Can I sign up now? How much does it cost?
Our on-site massage therapist will have sign-ups prior to & when you arrive for the Celebrate Memories Crop weekend. She will have her schedule available for you to sign up for massages throughout the weekend. There is an additional charge for the full body massages (no chair massages this time ladies - this is the real one hour deal!) Please bring cash or check to pay for your massage.
